Handbook
"Music Reading Curriculum for Bass"
with binding
For four- and five string basses.
With notes counted out.
Learn by yourself how to read music.
The approach is as follows:
First, you will only learn rhythmic values (on one and the same pitch), and then you will proceed to differing pitches. The level of difficulty rises only gradually. All notes belonging to the exercises are counted out, and the counts are to be found right underneath the prevailing notes. No more confusion! Only then the exercises proceed string by string from the low B-string to the high G-string to practice on notes with differing pitch. All of this proceeds very slowly!
If you complete one exercise per day, you will be able to play written music within three months! This I guarantee with my good name.
